BIG News!!!!

Well, we all knew it was coming soon, and here it is....We're going to have a new addition (most likely also the last addition) to our family right before Halloween this year! We won't know if it's a boy or girl until June or July, but I know many are hoping for a boy!! I had my visit with the OB nurse today and there was some good news, because of the problems that I had with Shelby (pre-eclampsia, post partum pre-eclampsia, the staph infection and e. coli) I will be going up to the OB doctor's this time instead of seeing a general practitioner because they consider me high-risk now. Don't start worrying about anything though, we were told that there is only a 25% chance of the pre-eclampsia coming back and the other problems were related to the C-section because Shelby was breech, and hopefully we won't have to have another one of those! We now have our own blood pressure monitor and will take a reading twice a day and keep a log, just to make sure that it doesn't start creeping up and they will most likely test my protein with every visit as a second check. There really isn't too much to tell now, just that with each baby you grow out of your clothes even earlier than the last....Tim will be pulling out the box of maternity clothes when he gets home from practice tonight, or I'll just be wearing pajama pants everywhere I go! We love you all!!
